The late Mr. Bua John Uti was born on the 14th February 1939 at Adikpo in Kwande local government area of Benue State. He was the third child and the last born to the family of Uti his late father and late mama Wanjovgire his Mother.
He only attended and completed his primary seven Education since his father refused to sponsor his further education.

He was trained by the white colonial masters in the area of mechanical engineering for which he became proficient and highly skilled. This enables him to secure a job with several companies like RCC Construction Company, Leventis Nig Ltd etc.

Late Mr. Bua also diversified into several areas thus:
He was one among the first to have coaster bus, three ton and hiace buses in Adikpo town for commercial purpose and indeed was a effective driver.

He was proficient and effective in providing mechanical solution to all types of engines whether, motor cars, Heavy duty motors, motorbikes, grinding engines, wrist watches, building etc indeed he was a builder, an engineer, and a constructor of the highest repute.

Late Mr. Bua was a man full of fun, jokes, and words of wisdom and above all so interactive with people but very principled and disciplined.

Late Mr. Bua was a handsome man and that endeared him to so many wives. He had married six wives but only two are still with him before he died. Baba was blessed with several children.

Late Mr. Bua John Uti confessed and professed Christ and was baptized in sick bed by a white priest by name Fr. Silvio Rogger SDB in 2004 at FMC Makurdi. He continued with the faith up to the point of Death.


Tiv Major Occupation:
Agriculture (subsistence farming) with yams, sorghum, and bulrush millet as major crops and sweet potatoes, taro, manioc, peanuts, maize, and earth peas, along with the garden crops of squash, beans, okra, peppers, onions, and tomatoes. Recently introduced cash crops are sesame, rice, and soy beans. Goats, sheep, and chickens are numerous.
